Fruit Tree Pruning Class

 

Learn about apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, cherries, plums, and more!   Elizabeth will share tips and tricks on how to  have a healthy and productive fruit tree that suites your space and are in harmony with your garden.

She will take you step by step through the pruning process, talk about different pruning techniques, and year round timing for pruning the most common fruit trees in the Bay Area’s backyards.

Elizabeth will also talk about how to care for your trees in a more sustainable way giving you an overview of the most common pests and diseases in our region and the IPM approach to them. (IPM= Integrated Pest Management is an environmentally sensitive approach that relies on a combination of mechanical and organic techniques)
